Bell times
The morning bell rings at 8.30am ready for our learning.
Bells also ring at 11.10am and 1.25pm to allow students toilet/drink times before re-entering class after the lunch/play breaks.
Bus
Tropic Wings buslines run a daily school bus service to and from Cow Bay and Cape Tribulation.
Please contact Tropic Wings on (07) 4041 9400 regarding bus times, changes and other arrangements.
The bus driver adheres to the code of conduct for School bus travel as provided by the Queensland Transport. Adults are not permitted to travel on the bus.
During the wet season, the road can become impassable due to flooding etc. If this should happen, please contact the school to advise arrangements for your child/children, i.e. alternate transport, overnight billeting.
Class times
8.30am-10.30am – Literacy block including English, reading, spelling, etc.
11.10am-12.45pm - Mathematics for all years; plus Science for Yrs P-2
1.25pm 2.30pm - Other key learning areas
Lunches
Each class has a refrigerator for student lunches. Students are encouraged to eat healthy and to ensure they drink water throughout the day.
All year levels enjoy a daily procedure of having a ‘power/ protein snack’ – (fruit, vegetable or protein snack) at 8:.5am.

10.30am-11:10am
12.45pm-1.25pm
